The Rock Will 'Crap Himself' At WrestleMania, John Cena Warns

'We're gonna see who the greatest of all time is,' Cena tells MTV News of Sunday's WM 28.

With the anticipation for WrestleMania XXVIII coming to a boil, you kind of get the feeling that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena don't really like each other. Seriously, how would you feel if the Rock called you a girl?

"He literally uses the same material over and over and over again and convinces people that it's still funny," Cena told MTV News recently, brushing the insult aside.

The two towering masses of muscle will face off on April 1 at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, during the main event for the 28th edition of the WWE's annual WrestleMania throwdown. But the tension between the two has been building for years. In a February interview with MTV News, the Rock got personal.

"Here's the thing about John Cena: He's such a good girl, really good woman," Johnson joked. "At the end of the day, he knocked on my door, I'm gonna answer it. I've got a size-15 boot, and it's gonna go right up his stink. Or his lady parts — either one."

Cena said he's heard it all before. This Sunday, he promised, things will get serious for his opponent. "If I have lady parts, that's OK, but you're gonna pee and crap yourself at the same time when you realize you're in the ring with a professional," he said sternly.

The 6'1," 251 lb. hulk has been itching to fight the wrestler-turned-actor for seven years and now that he has his chance he doesn't plan to waste it.

"I got you man," Cena warned "The Tooth Fairy" star. "I know things about you that you don't even know about yourself," he said, addressing the Rock, who's taking a short break from Hollywood to return to the ring, directly. "April 1, we're gonna see who the greatest of all time is."

Who do you think will win the main event at WrestleMania XXVIII? Tell us in the comments!

Ultrafast laser pulses shed light on elusive superconducting mechanism: U of British Columbia

International team that includes University of British Columbia physicists has used ultra-fast laser pulses to identify the microscopic interactions that drive high-temperature superconductivity

An international team that includes University of British Columbia physicists has used ultra-fast laser pulses to identify the microscopic interactions that drive high-temperature superconductivity.

In the experiment, to be outlined this Friday in the journal Science, electrons in a prototypical copper-oxide superconductor were excited by extremely short 100-femtosecond (0.0000000000001-second) laser pulses.

As the material's electrons relax back to an equilibrium state, they release their excess energy via deformation of the superconductor's atomic lattice (phonons) or perturbation of its magnetic correlations (spin fluctuations).

The researchers were able to capture very fine grained data on the speed of the relaxation process and its influence on the properties of the superconducting system, showing that the high-critical temperature of these compounds can be accounted for by purely electronic (magnetic) processes.

"This new technique offers us our best window yet on the interactions that govern the formation of these elusive superconducting properties--both across time and across a wide range of characteristic energies," says UBC Associate Professor Andrea Damascelli, Canada Research Chair in Electronic Structure of Solids with the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the UBC Quantum Matter Institute.

"We're now able to begin to disentangle the different interactions that contribute to this fascinating behavior."

Superconductivity--the phenomenon of conducting electricity with no resistance--occurs in some materials at very low temperatures. High-temperature cuprate superconductors are capable of conducting electricity without resistance at temperatures as high as -140 degrees Celsius.

The key mechanism that allows the carriers to flow without resistance in superconductors stems from an effective pairing between electrons. In conventional metallic superconductors, this pairing mechanism is well understood as phonon-mediated. In copper-oxides, the nature of the low-resistance interaction between the electrons has remained a mystery.

"This breakthrough in the understanding of the puzzling properties of copper-oxides paves the way to finally solving the mystery of high-temperature superconductivity and revealing the key knobs for engineering new superconducting materials with even higher transition temperatures," says the paper's lead author Claudio Giannetti, a researcher with Italy's Universit Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and visiting professor at UBC's Quantum Matter Institute.

The international collaboration also involved contributions from Japanese, Swiss and American researchers.

Lenovo outs Enterprise App Shop for business-oriented Android ...

We'd previously seen Lenovo work its app game by handing out dev classes to high schoolers, and now it's got some application bits for the grown-ups. Earlier today, the Chinese manufacturer introduced its Enterprise App Shop, which is said to run on Android slates that are sporting Honeycomb or any later version of the OS. Lenovo's also stuffed an "App Shop Manager" feature in the biz-oriented market, allowing companies to build a mini app store where they can add and control their own applications. The ThinkPad maker says the Enterprise App Store Shop's simplicity will help by "eliminating factory resets and streamlining app installation," while being "very intuitive and easy to use." We'll have to wait and see if that's indeed the case.

Google IO 2012 tickets sell out in 28 minutes

IO 2012

?Update 2: And general attendee tickets are gone, too. Registration was open for just 28 minutes, meaning tickets sold out more than twice as quickly as last year. Congrats to those who managed to score one!

?Update: Twenty minutes in, and academic tickets already appear to be sold out.

Original story: Grab your credit card and your Google account and head to google.com/io, because registration for the Google IO 2012 developer conference is now open! Last year's conference sold out in under an hour, so you'll want to hurry to get your ticket, if you're interested in seeing the latest and greatest from Google and its partners this Summer.

Last year we got our first look at the revamped Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Google's "Chromebook" laptops, as well as the first hints about the direction of Ice Cream Sandwich. This year we're expecting more tablet and smartphone goodness, along with more on Google's entertainment services, including Google TV and Google Play.

This year's IO has been extended from two to three days, and runs from June 27-29 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Tickets will cost $900 for general attendees, or $300 for academics, double last year's prices. We'll be there, of course, so keep watching our IO landing page for more news as the event approaches.

Here are collectable dolls which you can either buy here, or find through special events and/or treasures. They are hard to find, mostly, but they have many magical powers. You are only allowed to carry three on your person at a time. If you have more than three, the others must be stored in your bank. You may trade them in or out at anytime through the bank. If you collect all of the dolls, you get a special doll, called Ying Yang.
Image
This doll's powers are mostly unkown. It is said that each one always has a different ability; some better than others. Each time you get one of these, it will have a different power. You can get more of the Ying Yang doll by collecting all the dolls. Each set of dolls you have give you one Ying Yang doll. However, if you lose a doll from the set, the Ying Yang doll will disappear.

Lucky Bunny Doll:

This doll adds to your luck; making it much easier for you to find rare and special items wherever you go. Worth: 3000 gold
Image

Zap Doll:

This doll adds to any electrical attack or weapon by +10 points. It also adds a paralyzing effect if there isn't already one. Worth: 2000 gold

Role of Insurance Companies in Injury Lawsuits | Legal Advice Online

Insurance companies play an active role in personal injury lawsuits, mainly because most people carry insurance to cover damages in the event of an accident or other incident resulting in injury. Insurance companies promise to defend policyholders when someone brings a claim against them.

When injury attorneys pursue lawsuits

When unable to obtain adequate compensation in a claim, an injury lawyer can file a lawsuit against the at-fault party on your behalf to seek damages through litigation.

Take an auto accident, for example. The West Virginia Compulsory Insurance Law requires all West Virginia drivers to meet mandatory insurance requirements. In West Virginia, injured parties in a car accident may sue other drivers to recover the full extent of damages for their injuries. In a trial, your attorney would be up against the insurance company?s counsel and each side would present its evidence to win over the jury for a favorable verdict. Settlement negotiations are still possible at any time during the trial, and in fact most cases settle before going to verdict.

Dealing with insurance companies

When filing a claim for damages, your first contact is usually the insurance adjuster working for the insurance company. In most claims, the insurance adjuster asks about the accident or incident, arranges for a damage estimate, and at some point provides a settlement offer on behalf of the insurance company.

If your claim involves serious injury or damages, it is wise to use personal injury lawyers in West Virginia for representation. The reason is that while insurance adjusters and other company representatives may be friendly and helpful, the insurance company?s interests are their priority. Insurance companies guard their bottom lines and set goals for paying the least amount of money possible when settling claims. However, an experienced personal injury lawyer has your best interests in mind, and that usually means obtaining the largest settlement possible on your behalf. Being left with unpaid medical bills or hardship due to lost wages when the other party was responsible for your injury is simply not fair.

To get answers to questions about West Virginia personal injury law or for representation in an injury case, contact an experienced personal injury law firm.

Professional Answering Service ? A Quantum Leap In Small Business

professional answering serviceA professional answering service might just be what you need to make a quantum leap in your small business customer service. One of the worst feelings in the world is calling a company to request information, ask questions, or place an order, only to find that the phone rings and rings and rings before somebody FINALLY answers the phone. Another bad situation is calling for the same reasons only to get a representative on the line that knows nothing about what you are calling about. We?ve all been there, and experienced these situations probably numerous times. Often, we tend to take our business somewhere else when this happens, because there?s plenty of competition. Competition is exactly why you as a small business owner must strive to truly outshine your competitors, and what better way than to improve your first impression with a customer when they first call in, through a professional answering service?

These answering services can truly make a huge impact on how successful your business becomes, because often times, the first impression is the only one you will get, and you need to make a strong first impression with you clients. Basically, it works like this; a customer will call your business, it gets forwarded to your answering service, and a customer service representative picks up the phone and speaks on your businesses behalf (they are trained by way of scripts written by you, the small business owner), they answer any questions that the customer has, they can place orders, and give any information needed about your business. The customer hangs up with all of their questions or concerns answered and resolved, and it leaves a strong first impression with the customer. This is like I said, a quantum leap in terms of small business customer service, and there are many competitors who you will literally slay in terms of customer retention because of the usage of a professional answering service. These reps are trained to know your business, and the when the call is forwarded over to them, the customers information auto-populates on the client of the answering service representative who is to handle the call.

A Professional Answering Service Saves Time

One of the things that become so hard when operating a small business is making that big time impact. You?re a small time business operating in the midst of many big time businesses, and you?re trying to get your name out there, but are unsure of how to make the big impact and really strike a homerun. Well this is how you do it; this is how you ?separate the men from the boys? so to speak and make a true name for yourself and your small business customer service. You need a phone answering service, and one that is going to truly work to make sure that your calls are answered with the utmost courtesy, and knowledge of your business. Truly, a professional answering service is a quantum leap in terms of small business customer service.

Intestinal inflammation keeps Detroit Mayor Dave Bing in the hospital

Detroit Mayor Dave Bing will remain in Henry Ford Hospital for further observation, according to a statement just released from the mayor?s office.

Bing?s Chief of Staff Kirk Lewis said the 68-year-old mayor has ?a commonly diagnosed, non-life-threatening condition."

?He continues to rest comfortably,? Lewis said earlier today. ?The mayor is alert, upbeat and tells me he?s ready to return to the office.?

The release did not indicate when the mayor would get the OK to go home.

Bing, 68, spent the night in the hospital after being diagnosed with an inflammation of the intestine, his chief of staff Kirk Lewis said this morning in a statement.

?I spoke with Mayor Bing late this afternoon. He indicated he would remain in the hospital for further observation,? Lewis said. ?He continues to be upbeat and rests comfortably.?

Bing was hospitalized Thursday after feeling discomfort after a morning visit to the dentist.

On WJR-AM (760) this morning, host Paul W. Smith said he spoke to Bing by telephone Thursday night and Bing told him: ?They think I might have a bit of colitis.?

Colitis is an inflammation of the large intestine, or colon.

Lewis said inflammation of the intestine is a commonly diagnosed condition affecting more than half of Americans over 60 years old.
