Morse Communications helped design and deploy NWSC's innovation overhaul with fiber optic and copper wiring cabling infrastructure, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephony system, data network switch environment and wireless innovation throughout the school campus in support of their evolving research strategies. Morse Communications replaced the IP switching network with the Alcatel-Lucent OmniSwitch 6850 10 GigE fiber concentrator and the OmniSwitch 6400 delivering 1GigE with Power over Ethernet to the desktop. Morse Communications installed Alcatel-Lucent's state of the art IP hybrid telephone solution, the OmniPCX Enterprise - putting a phone in each classroom for safety, and setup a robust wireless LAN solution to meet the demands of NWSC "one-to-one computing" initiative.
